Chevron Corporation Program Management Analyst in Ames, Iowa

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Program Management Analyst position through October 2nd at 11:59 p.m.

The Program Management Office Analyst will be involved in strategy and capital alternative development and analysis at centralized HQ groups, as well as those strategy and business planning roles within the Strategic Planning group.

This position will support project teams in planning, managing, and executing cross-functional projects across the Chevron – Renewable Energy Group business unit. This includes post-acquisition integration and divestiture activities for global operations. The ideal candidate knows how to collaborate across departments, work with stakeholders to determine needs of the project team and can effectively communicate across the wide range of groups involved.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting due diligence process work streams to understand strategic objectives, assess target company for fit, and provide pre-integration planning.

  • Integration planning and project management support

  • Acting as an escalation point for issues or blockers wo the work stream leader and stakeholders.

  • Ensure project team members are managing timelines, milestones, and resource allocations for all assigned activities.

  • Facilitate alignment and shared understanding across the organization.

  • Perform After Action Reviews to ensure continuous improvement of integration processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.

  • 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communicational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to present your views and opinions clearly and concisely.

  • Team player with the ability to work well in a fast-paced diverse team environment.
