Chevron Corporation Accounting/Financial Analyst in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires Shared Services Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero) Argentina, is a global operation offering HR, IT, business processing and finance services to support Chevron´s global operations.

BASCC is accepting online applications for the position of Accounting/ Financial Analyst. Successful candidates will join the Finance team.

Responsibilities for this position are but not limited to:

  • Account analysis

  • Manage accounting activities, including but not limited to journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance.

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including AR/AP

  • Prepare monthly variance analysis to understand account fluctuations

  • Participate in month/quarter/year end closing processes.

  • Perform special ad-hoc projects as requested

  • Support system and process improvements to help drive efficiencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related careers.

    • 5 years of relevant finance or accounting work experience (e.g. accounts payables, accounts reconciliation, inventory, fixed assets, general ledger, intercompany, exchange accounting, credits and receivable).
  • Advanced English level. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to complete an English assessment test.

  • Enjoy working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Display initiative and leadership in handling multiple job responsibilities, setting priorities, maintaining a high level of accomplishment, and implementing process improvements

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced command of productivity tools (power BI, Power query, power app, SharePoint)
