Chevron Corporation Communications Specialist in Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive organizational culture at the Buenos Aires Shared Services Center. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align engagement initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Develop and execute communication plans, including leadership messages, change management communications, stakeholder engagements, employee emails, benefit communication campaigns, and web and video content.
Create and execute a comprehensive Employee Engagement (EE) communication strategy that addresses engagement and retention drivers.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and community members
Coach Senior Leaders to enhance their employee engagement. Engaging with internal stakeholders
Partner with the Enterprise Comms team to develop content for the company website, social media channels, and publications.
Implement continuous improvement levers such as monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make recommendations for improvements.
Foster a positive and engaging work environment through effective communication practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communication channels.
Maintain a strong understanding of Chevron's business objectives and incorporate them into all communication efforts
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, and proactively identify potential communication opportunities and risks.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in similar roles, with a focus on employee engagement and culture building.
Proven ability to develop and implement engagement strategies and programs.
Advanced English level is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in employee engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.
Experience in a Shared Service Center environment.
