Chevron Corporation Downstream Analyst in Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications to join the Buenos Aires Downstream Service Center Team. In addition to providing Downstream services support, the more than 700 professionals that work at BASSC, provide expert information technology, human resource, finance, procurement, and solutions to Chevron partners around the globe.

Overview: Buenos Aires Downstream Service Center, provides back office and customer service support to the North America (US and Canada) and Latin America Retail, Aviation, Commercial & Industrial, Lubricants and Chemicals businesses.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely creation, input, change and or maintenance of pricing and master data for the Chevron`s US and Latin America Downstream customers.

  • Analyzes, investigates, and resolves mater data, pricing inquiries or billing information in coordination with the Subject Matter Expert´s and other support groups such as IT, Marketing Services and Performance Partners, Finance teams, etc. to determine a resolution.

  • Continuously seeks ways to streamline administrative requirements of customers in support of improving process efficiency where appropriate.

  • Called on to assist in customer integrations, quality improvement teams, and other projects that require billing and pricing knowledge.

  • Contract and Agreement Administration: Generates, interprets, and reviews all contracts and Standard Deals agreements for the North America or Latin America Chevron business. This entails coordination and collaboration with business partners like Legal, IT, Credit, Compliance and Sales Team. Ensure that contracts are signed and executed by all parties involved.

  • Internal Controls, Compliance and Reports: Ensure that all contracts, agreements, and processes are consistently aligned with the corporate and SOX guidelines and that master data are set up are updated by reviewing the necessary reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder or student in a business administration-related field

  • Advanced in oral and written English communication with analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Can multi-task and work independently

  • Must be a good team player

  • Working and communicate with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using SAP

  • Experience working in Shared Service Centers or similar.

  • Daily use of English at current job

  • Salesforce / DocuSign

Relocation Options:
