The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position SAP S4/HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) Functional Analyst (MDG). Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1,000 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.

We are looking for individuals with application management and implementation experience on SAP (ECC or S4Hana), JDE, Infor EAM, Maximo, and/or other Plant Maintenance systems within the Enterprise Asset Management function, to be part of ERP scrum team/s responsible for developing and maintaining SAP solutions and work with various product teams.

Join our team and work in an Agile environment with a primary focus on maintaining the application and optimizing evergreen support through configuration, automation, and integration.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform troubleshooting, analysis, coordination, and resolution of various types of production issues,

  • Collaborate closely with Business Partners to gather business requirements,

  • Analyze and understand SAP EAM and IAM capabilities developed to support asset maintenance critical business processes, functionality, business KPIs.

  • Configure the SAP EAM and IAM solutions to meet business needs or resolve issues,

  • Open to develop basic technical expertise on any of the following - ABAP code analysis/low code development, SAP Security, continuous integration, or automation,

  • Partner with developers to design, code and implement custom or complex solutions,

  • Analyze, devise, and execute system tests to verify solutions’ effectiveness,

  • Oversee the deployment of solutions to the production environments.

  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required,

  • May act as subject matter mentor to more junior team members.

  • Experience using Master Data Governance (MDG), which includes consolidation, governance, replication, configuration, integration, upgrade, and troubleshooting activities

  • Conduct unit and integration testing, to confirm and validate system functionalities and successful execution of end-to-end replication process

  • Engages with Functional analysts to ensure data quality and integrity before and after migration

  • Build validation and derivation rules for data quality using BRF+

  • Execute AM configuration, functional documentation, and testing plans (not applicable to Data Engineers)

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid years of proficiency and hands-on experience on SAP (ECC or S4Hana), JDE, Infor EAM, Maximo, and/or other Plant Maintenance application operations support and/or project implementation within the Enterprise Asset Management function,

  • Knowledgeable in Configuration based on functional area of expertise,

  • Proven ability in analytical and problem-solving skills,

  • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written,

  • Strong customer focus and results-orientation.

  • Self-motivated and Team player

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge on ABAP Debugging or code analysis, SAP Security or SAP Integration is a plus.
