Job description:

Chevron Egypt is searching for a B2B sales Channel Manager, who will be primarily responsible for owning the vision and roadmap for B2B sales channels, working with stakeholders across the company to develop the channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who strives to make a difference. Additionally, this role is responsible for optimizing sales in an existing set of industrial accounts through strengthening customer relations and focusing on continually growing revenue based on customer needs, including bringing in new business to expand sales coverage beyond the existing customer base.

  • Job Duties and Skills required:

  • Manages all lubricant, coolants, and specialties sales within B2B Industrial Channel. This includes execution of short- and long-term strategies aligned with Business Plan.

  • Own the vision and roadmap for B2B sales channels, working with stakeholders across the company to develop the channels.

  • Develop & Implement Lubricants Solution (Value-add) selling business strategy in line with the Global Lubricants Strategy to achieve the overall key objectives of the business (i.e. volumes, margins, OEAT, capex investments, opex etc

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Tech, Finance and Operation teams to expand and grow the number of B2B customers.

  • Develop and build sustainable solution (value-selling) based programs for the focus segments to deliver cost savings and improved overall operations beyond selling product

  • Lead, Motivate and coach sales team to ensure business sales targets are achieved.

  • Conduct market research (analyze competitors, market opportunities, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)

  • Work closely with direct report team to define and use synergies for a better implementation of strategies and achieving mutual goals and targets

  • Managing team members KPI's & targets

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities for a variety of customer types in the defined channel

  • Communicates strategies, plans and performance progress to engage stakeholders with a focus on execution.

  • Responsible for delivering sustainable results consistent with strategic objectives for volume, margin, distributor profitability, selling prices and expenses and in alignment with channel strategy and objectives.

  • Ensure all pipeline opportunities are captured on SFDC and progress is tracked continuously

  • Execution of territory plan at or above assigned targets about volume and margins.

  • Plan effective territorial coverage resulting in high sales/call ratio

  • Contract negotiation and execution.

  • Ability to influence people’s decision and opinions.

  • Ability to cultivate long-term client relationships.

  • Good knowledge of lubricants products and related industries.

  • Provide prompt technical support and ensure timely resolution of all technical issues in coordination with Technical Managers.

  • Qualifications

  • Engineering background – minimum of 7 years

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales - 3+ years of experience in managerial position
