We operate 100,000 barrels per day refinery in Milnerton, Cape Town, that produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, fuel oil, paving asphalt and other products. Chevron South Africa also has interests in a lubricant oil manufacturing plant in Durban and maintains a laboratory and blending plant there.
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Brand Specialist - Southern Africa located in Cape Town, South Africa through 27 July 2018.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Executes seamlessly brand advertising and promotional activities, which are relevant to customers, differentiated from the competition and executed through synergistic use of best practices
Supervises and manages the partner agencies. Ensures timely delivery of quality agency scope of work
Coordinates with the business to align with the strategic business plans
Tracks and monitors brand budget
Manages internal and external communications specifically the Caltex website and other social network sites of Caltex
Supports and promotes brand positioning to all business units. Ensures proper usage of brand properties in compliance with image guidelines and standards
Collaborates with Caltex’ partners - Convenience & Loyalty - to develop aligned communication that builds the overall customer value proposition
Tertiary qualification in Marketing
Relevant experience in Brand, Marketing or Advertising, greater length of exposure and experience in these disciplines will be considered advantagous
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Digital Marketing Knowledge
Project Management Experience advantageous
Communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills are essential to the job
Relocation may be considered within Chevron South Africa parameters.
