Cybersecurity Analytics and Reporting Solution (CARS) is an enterprise level data foundation providing integrated cyber reporting that provides visibility into the Cybersecurity landscape to improve decision quality and enhance risk intelligence for a diverse audience. The CARS BI Support Analyst performs as a technical analyst who engages with business customers to address questions, solve problems and work on small enhancements for this analytics solution. This is an area targeted for significant growth providing the opportunity to work with a variety of systems/teams.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Understanding the diverse source systems and the associated business processes so that CARS can provide visiblity into the current cybersecurity landscape, enhance risk intellegence and drive prioritization efforts through a data focused risk approach
Working with customers on resolving tickets and minor requests
Ensuring that ticket resolutions are aligned with the business requirements, and adhering to technology standards
Deploying enhancements and ensuring that all appropriate documentation is completed
Guiding and educating the consumers of reports in understanding the insights to be obtained and leveraging all functionality provided
Working in an agile design through a devops model
Ensure that all appropriate documentation is completed
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent, BA/BS preferred
4+ years’ experience as a BI support analyst
Ability to work with developers, data scientists and customers to resolve issues. Strong analytical skills to identity business needs and formulate solutions
Strong ability to discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding
Build working relationships that contribute to the success of the solution as well as the business partner
Ability to solve complex technical issues and identify project risk. Must be diligent with an attention to detail.
Experience with Analytics solution architecture and/or analytics solutions development
Experience with traditional BI and/or big data ecosystems is a plus; Cloud is a plus
Experience with visualization tools, i.e. Spotfire, PowerBI is a plus
Experience working in an Agile framework is a plus
Knowledge of visualization tools, Spotfire, PowerBI is a plus
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to independently troubleshoot issues, suggest and implement changes, and deliver value to our business partners
Knowledge of data integration and data engineering
Strong customer focus and ability to document
