This role is for senior analyst(s) on the Desktop Support team responsible for partnering with IT design teams providing senior level support for core infrastructure and desktop technologies standard to Chevron's operating environment. This includes the Windows Operating System, Enterprise Exchange Infrastructure, Mobile Device Management Infrastructure, VMware v-Center Infrastructure, Security and Print Services Infrastructure, GIL Systems Application Tool Suite and Active Directory.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for technical troubleshooting, data gathering and GAP analysis for issues impacting end users globally.

  • Leads all IRM and BCP efforts for the Global Services Support organization and ensures consistent processes, procedures and technologies are utilized across ITC and Chevron.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years infrastructure management experience required

  • Candidate must have 5 years combined experience and be proficient in supporting the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013 Server Infrastructure

  • Mobile Device Management and Mobile Web Apps, iOS, etc.

  • Active Directory Administration and Infrastructure Design

  • SCCM (SMS) Administration 2012

  • VMWare VCenter VDI Infrastructure Management

  • Windows 7 and 10 Operating System Registry

  • Office 365 in Azure

  • Print Server Management

  • Skype Server 2013

  • SharePoint Collection Administration

  • Proxy Configuration Management

  • HTML coding within Visual Basics or .Net Framework

  • PowerShell Scripting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred

  • Support Certifications, desired:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Messaging; SharePoint)

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist

  • VMWare Certified Professional

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional

  • Air Watch Enterprise Mobility Certification

  • Demonstrated strong analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lead through influence, influence/partner with geographically dispersed colleagues; build alignment using appropriate methods.

  • Demonstrates an inclusive, collaborative style to ensure results are obtained and supported.

  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to work with various support functions and regional offices.

  • Strong collaboration across multiple management levels and organizations.

  • Liaisons with cross functional teams leading lean sigma process improvement initiatives.

  • Technical mentor and training coordinator for global L1 and L2 support organizations

  • Demonstrated working experience of consultancy to provide business solutions - requirements, alternatives, design, construction, architecture, implementation
