Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Executive Assistant located in London, UK through March 9, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).


Chevron is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide back-up Administrative support to the Eurasia-Pacific (E-P) Region Team. The London-based E-P Executives include GM Strategy & Business Performance; GM HR; GM Finance; HSE Advisor and GM Corporate Affairs.

The Assistant will also be required to provide back-up admin support to the other E-P Assistants (especially during vacation, periods of heavy workload and maternity leave).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, self-motivated and detail orientated. The candidate should demonstrate sound judgement, integrity, and be able to respond quickly and effectively to multiple requests, tasks and projects. The Candidate should get along well working as a Team, both with the Executives, and the other Executive Assistants, including Assistants in Chevron’s overseas offices. A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude is key. Reliability and punctuality are also critical. The candidate should be proficient in MS Office and be willing to learn any new digital applications to improve productivity.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing calendars and scheduling virtual meetings across multiple time zones with multiple participants

  • Preparing Expense reports in Concur

  • Raising service orders and processing invoices in Ariba and D2 system

  • Arranging international travel, preparing complex itineraries and assisting with travel visas

  • Booking meeting rooms and arranging catering for inhouse meetings

  • Arrange occasional external/offsite meetings

  • General admin support including visitor passes, couriers, stationery orders and other ad hoc tasks and projects as required

  • Proficient in MS office (excel, one note, power point, word)

Provide back-up to the Eurasia-Pacific President’s Assistant, notably when she is out of the office on vacation or during periods of heavy workload. Duties include:

  • Managing the President’s calendar - scheduling meetings, often across multiple zones (US, UK, Eurasia, Asia, Australia)

  • Managing President’s email inbox, flagging and categorizing emails, actioning where appropriate and identifying pre-read and briefing materials

  • Making all pre-read available to the President in OneNote, prior to each meeting

  • Arranging President’s travel and preparing a detailed itinerary for each trip

  • Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' similar experience for the role

  • Education to at least A-level
