Chevron Corporation Accounting Analyst for Asset Accounting in Makati City, Philippines

Responsible for accounting activities across the enterprise, whether embedded in BU, in Corp, or FSS.

We are now accepting online applications for the Accounting Analyst (International Upstream Asset Accounting) position through September 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Fixed Assets and WIP Accounting (various Upstream BUs)• AFE Creation and Maintenance• Asset Creation and Maintenance• Computation and Analysis of Depreciation• Posting and monthly Depreciation (UOP & Straight Line)

Accounts Reconciliation• Performs accounts reconciliation of related accounts• Perform Trace & Escalation procedure for reconciling items

General Administrative Tasks• Maintain updated process documentation• Performs roles and responsibilities for assigned coordination role• Attend meetings• Participate in professional development activities (e.g. training, reading professional materials,attending seminars, participating in self study courses, interacting with industry counter parts,etc.).• Participate in special projects.• Provide assistance and discussions with colleagues or direct reports.

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting• Uses clear and concise oral / written communication skills - develops and utilizes network, facilitatesand coordinates communications withvarious contacts and takes a consultative position to fulfill control duties• Able to gather and interpret diverse source documents to ensure proper accounting of more complextransactions• Strong analytical skills - uses awareness of expected results in the preparation and review of entries,statements, or reports; identifies,analyzes, and resolves routine variances and discrepancies• Strong technical knowledge - utilizes advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of PC application andtools to be able to efficiently process,manage, and present data; utilizes systems knowledge to be able to eliminate unnecessarycomplexities in own desk• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
