Chevron Corporation HR Benefits Administration Representative (Direct Hire Contractor) in Makati City, Philippines

Provides transactional and administrative support for a significant number of Human Resource's programs and systems, primarily the ones described in the responsibilities. Investigates additional support opportunities.

Performs routine tasks independently. General supervision of non-routine work. Has basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices

Chevron is accepting online applications for the HR Benefits Administration Representative (Direct Hire Contractor) through April 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time. 

Note: This is for a 1-year employment contract.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Manage processing of various company and government benefits within agreed SLAs, e.g., benefits allowances, reimbursements, probationary status and end-of-contract monitoring, e-personnel file management, reports generation, etc.

  • Own and manage administration of local benefits programs for customer countries and provide guidance based on HR policies

  • Partner closely with local HR teams to resolve issues, prioritize work, and collaborate on process improvements/automation

  • Engage and coordinate with benefits vendors, as appropriate

  • Lead or participate in various projects related to benefits administration; partner and collaborate with other teams on various initiatives (HR, Payroll, etc.)

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration or other related courses

  • At least 2 years’ work experience in compensation and benefits administration

  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and customer management skills

  • Strong teamwork and partnership, collaborating with people from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds

  • Strong and effective communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines

  • MS Excel skills working with multiple spreadsheets e.g., data validation and reconciliation

  • Can work during dayshift schedule Philippine time and holidays (if needed)

  • Can work on-site twice a week in the Makati office

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with regional customers (e.g., Asia Pacific, Australia)

  • Experience in Workday/other HR ERP and case management system

  • Digital/automation skills is an advantage

  • Project leadership experience
