Chevron Corporation Medical Administrative Assistant (Direct Hire Contractor) in Makati City, Philippines

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

The Medical Administrative Assistant is responsible for a multitude of tasks that include electronic medical coding, communicating with patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, as well as processing of Enterprise Health related billing. Additional tasks like managing email and mail traffic and overseeing office and medical supplies/equipment inventory.

  • The candidate should have good understanding of:

  • Medical terminology

  • Industry software applications like EMR, Word, Power point and Excel spreadsheet

  • Basic billing procedures

  • Medical ethics and laws

  • Confidentiality of the medical records based on HIPAA guidelines

  • Basic abbreviations and symbols used in the medical office

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preferably a graduate of any Medical/Health Allied course, board certification is an advantage but not required

  • Has at least 1-2 years of work experience in a clinical setting

  • With very good communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters

International Considerations:

Selected candidates will work in Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits
