Job Description

Join the Sales and Product Management (SPM) platform and help Chevron modernize & expand our websites customer experience. This role is on the Web Technologies & B2C eCommerce team, a high-profile team that supports all consumer websites worldwide under Chevron, Texaco & Caltex brands.

The ideal candidate would clearly understand web-based solutions that transform its ability to acquire and engage customers in pursuit of differentiated customer experiences and getting actionable insights. He/she would work closely with multiple teams, vendors and applications to developing seamless and scalable solutions; be able to influence decisions and have very good communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining enterprise class websites with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)

  • Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Work with development teams to implement integrated technical solutions.

  • Performing regular code reviews and sharing best practices

  • Supports across SDLC in production and review of functional design, site demos, and hands-on training

  • Lead testing efforts in conjunction with the Project or QA Manager, including the design and execution of test scripts and scenarios

  • Serve as the bridge between Product Owner (PO, Quality Assurance team (QA), development and business teams

  • Follow & Contribute to the organizational best practices/policies

  • Apply industry standard Design Patterns for web application development

  • Good at problem-solving skills, able to do analysis and support team to detect critical issues on existing systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience developing JEE web applications and very strong concepts of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak and Adobe Dispatcher

  • 3+ years of experience in implementing Web application, Web Content Management (WCM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions using AEM platform.

  • Experience in AEM component development, Asset workflow development, Schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management plus integrating AEM with other applications (Salesforce, Azure)

  • Hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Vue

  • Experience in other web technologies like Search, XML, XSL, Google Analytics, GTM, etc

  • Experience working with agile methodology, especially Azure Dev Ops (ADO), with ability to develop Stories, etc.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with relevant Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions such as Adobe AEM, Target, Analytics or other web related products.

  • Experience in working with both backend (AEM) and front-end UI development teams in parallel as well as with agencies and design teams

  • General understanding of the overall Application Architecture, including Author, Publisher, Dispatcher, Load Balancing, CDN and other security layers.

  • Experience working with agile methodology, especially Azure Dev Ops (ADO), with ability to develop Stories, etc.
