Join the team as a Software Asset Management Analyst and have the opportunity to work closely with software vendors and product line teams across the platforms managing the purchase, deployment, maintenance, use and disposal of software applications.

To be successful in the role, you will have knowledge on software publisher use rights and commercial acumen to work with internal service providers, legal, compliance, and software vendors.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Software License Management (SLM) for all applications related to Managed and Subscribed applications for desktops and servers.

  • Compliance and Risk Management to interpret software agreements, determine use rights and address exposure risks working closely with IRSM, Legal and Export Compliance teams.

  • Configuration of enterprise SLM tool – Flexera One or ServiceNow SAM Pro (preferred).

  • Data analysis for license usage review and software license optimization.

  • Development of software licensing reports and dashboards.

  • Contribution to the SLM Community of Practise (CoP) by determining and implementing new guidelines/policies, as needed.

  • Incident management for investigation and resolution of licensing issues.

  • Identifying, developing and deploying process improvements, standards and evergreen processes for software license management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge – bachelor’s degree in an IT or business-related discipline, knowledge on software publisher use rights, and data analysis skillset

    Business Acumen - demonstrates commercial acumen to work with internal service providers, legal, compliance and software vendors.

    Align & Inspire - able to prioritize and take ownership of work, communicate progress and adjust communications for audience. Able to listen to understand intent and needs.
