Chevron Corporation Technical Support Manager in Makati City, Philippines

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Technical Support Manager located in Makati City, Philippines through December 10, 2019 at 11:59 PM.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for office technical support for products and applications. Works across channels and with all customers. Provides product information, literature request, troubleshooting of oil analysis and other technology related tasks to support front line sales.

  • Coordination role between technology, field sales and customers on product integrity related issues and general quality concerns. Tracks and monitors action plan to resolve quality concerns. Uses LPS tools to track NLI and LI that are identified.

  • Monitors competitive product information and feeds to marketing and technology. Source of customer information on types of product and application inquiries.

  • Identifies up-sell and value enhancement opportunities and feeds to sales representatives for follow up and potential sales leads.

  • Involved in customer and frontline sales representative training on product and application fundamentals including oil analysis interpretation and replacement products.

  • Manages contracts with accredited oil testing, laboratory and other technical services.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Engineering is preferable.

  • At least 5 years related experience in the oil and gas, energy or related petrochemical industries.

  • Sales or Marketing experience is a plus.
