Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Deliver results and take ownership of role in accordance with Chevron Way and We Lead principles. and carry out the S2P vision for process leadership and fiduciary oversight.
Daily mailbox administration with initial inquiry review and distribution of workload
Research, investigation and resolution of received inquiries and requests from vendors and Chevron business units
Administration and user access maintenance of CIPS (Chevron Invoice and Payment Status) system for global users
Handling of inquiries and requests received through S2P Hotline
Understand the Accounts Payable and Procurement workflow which include process objectives, logic behind processes, risks involved within the process and process connectivity including its financial and enterprise connections with other processes within Chevron.
Collaborate with Source-to-Pay Teams to resolve issues identified through vendors’ and BUs’ inquiries
Demonstrate strong business focus by ensuring timely and accurate response to customer queries.
Perform backup role as needed to ensure business continuity and the deliverables of the team are always met
Background in Accounts Payable and Procurements processes
Technical knowledge in ERP (SAP & JDE) and Procurement system (Ariba/Smart by GEP)
Strong analytical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good customer service
