The End User Solutions Asset team supports the enterprise-wide deployment of different platforms and applications (such as SharePoint, Enterprise Search, Yammer, and Project Server) which facilitates collaboration and enhanced productivity that helps to enable Chevron to effectively manage information through its entire lifecycle, as well as improving collaboration within the company and with external partners. The successful candidate for this position will benefit from learning different technologies within the End User Solutions Asset (EUSA) organization and how it is being utilized throughout the enterprise, as well as broad exposure to multiple business partners across the globe. EUSA is also one of the first organizations heavily involved in the forefront of Chevron’s shift to the cloud, with the SharePoint Next project in full swing. This role also offers immersion into EUSA’s operational and change management processes and to strengthen their ITIL/ITSM proficiency.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

•OPERATIONAL: Delivers operational support processes and business solutions for End User Solutions Asset systems specifically Microsoft SharePoint server. Works with supplier groups within ITC such as Commercial Services, server, storage, database and active directory as well as partners and technology suppliers outside of Chevron. Works with security and information protection group to ensure that products remain fully compliant. Interfaces with Information Technology Service Management team in areas of capacity, availability, problem, change, release and configuration management. Understands how products support business functions to ensure that their requirements are satisfied. Operates within service level agreements. Understands and executes the team’s incident, change, release and configuration management processes.

•FUNCTIONAL: Understands the functional direction of the End User Solutions Asset systems within the team’s scope. Operates within team priorities and budgets. Deploys incident free releases, updates and hot fixes into production. Works with other IT function groups for operational support. Works with the Service Desk and business partners to resolve incidents. Participates in the development of recommended practices that are shared and leveraged across teams including OE, project prioritization, project management and asset lifecycle activities. Prioritizes and aligns work tasks balancing team and functional goals. Stays abreast of the Information Management needs of Chevron and provides these as input in Function planning.

Required Qualifications:

•Experience of SharePoint 2010 and/or SharePoint 2013/2016 server administration, installation, configuration, maintenance/upgrades, support, and some level of design.

•Experience in supporting SharePoint site collection as a site collection administrator including site design using SharePoint designer, InfoPath and PowerApp forms

•Infrastructure experience such as active directory, DNS, windows server administration, F5 or other load balancer, SQL, storage, monitoring, and backup devices

•Experience in using an incident management tracking system like Remedy

•Excellent Communication Skills in both oral & written.

•Excellent customer focus and results-orientation

•Flexible schedule to provide 24x7 on call support

•Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.

•Strong analytical / problem solving / troubleshooting skills.

•Understanding of Azure and other Cloud services.

•Familiar with software development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Prototyping, AGILE/Scrum, etc).

•Ability to work with multiple teams and influence/drive to deliver results

•Effectively execute support responsibilities while adhering to all applicable policies and documentation.

•Experience in supporting Office365 applications such as OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Stream, Flow
