Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide analytical Land support to the MCBU Land Division.

  • Perform a variety of land agreement maintenance activities and inputting information into systems.

  • Maintain expiration schedules, obligations and reports and maintain AFE database for tracking responses.

  • Draft simple land agreements and prepare land agreement forms.

  • Constructively use a high level of self-directed initiative to consistently and competently achieve assigned responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Operating Agreements and other Land related agreements from the perspective of being able to prepare cover letters for routine AFEs and interpreting, analyzing, and providing summaries (written and oral) on existing agreements.

  • Possess a deep knowledge and understanding of Land processes, procedures, and guidelines, with a focus on timeliness and accuracy, when completing tasks.

  • Ability to chain basic title and provide summaries (written and verbal).

  • Strong knowledge of Land systems, including, but not limited to, Quorum Land System (QLS).

  • Ability to pull data from external sources.

  • Ability to perform deep document and file searches.

  • Ability to develop customized reports from QLS, QGIS, QQM, SAP and other databases; ability to analyze and understand all agreement provisions for population into QLS; review files and prepare title clearances; prepare presentations and custom spreadsheets/reports.

  • Demonstrates strong teamwork skills within work group and when partnering with internal and external customers and/or other Land division's.

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences in a clear, concise and professional manner both orally and in writing.

  • High level of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree-Paralegal,Business, Energy Commerce, Land Management, MIS

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
