Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Design, manage, or implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies covering chemical treatment and corrosion monitoring and inspection activities, including preparation and delivery reports and identification and assessment of significant trends.
Provide technical assessment and interpretation of chemical treatment monitoring data and recommend changes in corrosion criticality analyses and monitoring/inspection programs. Utilizes NACE, EPTC, API, ASTM, AISI, AWS, SSCP and other O&G standards SME of water, oil and gas treatment plants and chemical treatment services.
Ensure the fulfillment of process safety requirements following internal standards. Act as PS SME, give support, tack metrics, communicate results, deliver training and identify trends and action plans as needed. Execute annual self-assessment to identify opportunities.
Interact with Process Safety Subject matter experts in technical center for new standard releases as well as new digital tools implementation.
Facilitate RCAs for PS incidents.
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion implementations of control strategies covering chemical treatment and corrosion monitoring and inspection activities.
Experience in assessing and interpreting chemical treatment including monitoring data and recommend changes in corrosion.
Continually reviews work methods and process to contribute to improvements on procedures or techniques on routine work.
Experience in Asset performance and Process Safety processes, Root causes analysis and IIR for process safety events.
Advanced English level.
Frequent availability to travel to the field, in Neuquen Basin.
Relocation will not be considered.
