Chevron Corporation Flight Technician in Oakland, California

Travels worldwide on corporate aircraft & performs the duties of Flight Technician and Cabin Attendant. Ensures that the highest level of safety and service are achieved as they relate to passenger & cabin safety, medical requirements, meal service and special requests. Ensures the proper mechanical functioning, repair & condition of the corporate aircraft away from home base.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Performs pre-flight & post-flight aircraft inspections.
Conducts thorough aircraft safety briefings.
Provides for the care and comfort of passengers traveling on the corporate aircraft.
Plan and procure creative meals that meet strict dietary needs and ensure that adequate commissary supplies and food are stored before every flight.
Excellent CRM skills, the ability to work independently, ability to establish priorities and solutions related to passenger service as well as office-in-the-sky capabilities onboard the aircraft.
Maintains thorough & up to date knowledge of all aircraft systems & equipment.
Coordinates aircraft servicing & maintenance while away from home base.
Participates in other special projects as assigned to enhance individual capability and improve the overall operation of the department
FAA Aircraft & Power Plant License.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Flight Technician or equivalent.
Proficiency/currency in emergency evacuation procedures and medical-related training.
Experience in large cabin corporate aircraft maintenance, cabin service, catering & food preparation.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact comfortably with senior level executives to establish and maintain control of the cabin environment.
Possess a valid U.S. Passport.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
