Chevron Corporation Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Administrator in Perth, Australia

Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Administrator to join the CMMS Administrator team. Reporting to the CMMS Coordinator, this two-year maximum term role will be based in Perth with occasional travel to site as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide input, training and support to the workforce to ensure the CMMS meets business needs

  • Act as subject matter expert for Operations CMMS

  • Manage the approval process and execution of CMMS requests as part of the master data management process

  • Conduct maintenance data loading activities from various business systems

  • Administer and coordinate end user access requests

  • Understand the cross-functional impacts of configuration and master data changes and conduct end-to-end process testing accordingly

  • Contribute to the development of training material

  • Deliver CMMS training and provide end-user support

  • Commitment to health, safety and environment and Chevron best practices

Key skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience administering CMMS systems (preferably JDE E1 V9.2) including coordinating basic configuration, user acceptance testing, master data management and work process management

  • Ability to take direction from the CMMS Coordinator and manage and prioritise multiple tasks

  • A good understanding of maintenance and engineering processes and field practices

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis skills as well as experience working within an integrated ERP environment

Key skills and experience Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a data management role, ideally in the oil and gas industry

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results
