Chevron Corporation Mooring Master Pilot in Richmond, California
Oversees tanker operations as the Chevron Terminal representative on board. Manages vessel handling, mooring, docking, lightering, etc. of vessels at the harbor/dock/terminal. Ensures that all company and industry standards and best practices are followed to achieve safe and effective operations.
Supports larger customers/clients and may lead functional projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Models and reinforces HES standards and requirements in support of Operational Excellence in all aspects of marine and mooring operations.
Pilots Chevron controlled and chartered tanker transits to and from Marine Terminals in the San Francisco Bay, including Docking and Undocking.
Assists with managing safe and efficient Chevron marine operations in San Francisco Bay by proactively working with local agents and terminal representatives to plan vessel scheduling.
Supports Terminal Operations thru process safety implementation, Richmond Refinery project support, OCIMF MTMSA, and by providing Terminal Feedback on third party vessels calling at Richmond Long Wharf
Supports Richmond Long Wharf office in a variety of roles, including project support, marine consultation, commission meetings, and/or other liaison roles.
Successful candidate will be a member of the Enterprise Marine Function - Terminals Team which has marine operations worldwide. Future advancement/transfer to other work locations is possible depending upon demonstrated proficiency and leadership.
A USCG Masters License is preferred. Have served or documented observations in a Senior Navigation role when navigating commercial vessels.

Strong communication skills required
USCG First Class Pilotage for San Francisco Bay Areas A, B, B1 is preferred. Trip sheet documentation towards pilotage accepted.

Relocation may be considered.
