We explore, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute fuels and other energy products; manufacture and sell petrochemical products; generate power; and develop future energy resources, including biofuels and geothermal energy. Responsibilities :

  • Aid in the blending of lubricant products

  • Accurate measuring of materials used in blends controlled by either automated system or manual drum dumping.

  • Operation of forklifts

  • Manually hooking up hoses to transfer product from tank to tanks, railcars, trucks, etc.

  • Loading bulk trucks with finished product.

  • Loading and unloading of railcars with finished product and/or components.

  • Maintain high level of operational excellence with focus on safety and reliability.

  • Product receipt, storage handling, transfer, and distribution functions safely.

  • Stock accounting functions including rack and inventory balances.

  • Complete facility inspection and scheduled maintenance and verifications of terminal equipment.

  • Monitors performance and testing of various terminal automation and alarm system.

  • Perform activities in the tank yard and Tank Truck Loading Rack (TTLR) areas. For Example: Gauging Tanks, switching tanks serving TTLR, performing daily inspections.

  • Maintain records as directed. For example: Stock Control, Waste/regulatory and Additive inventory

  • Performs administrative duties as necessary including daily weekly, monthly reports.

  • Perform routine clerical activities such as filing, maintenance of office equipment

  • Complete all Company and Regulatory training including computer base training, including ISO requirements.

  • Strong commitment to safety and active participation in HOP (Human and Operational Performance) to include completion of SLTs, Learning teams, etc.

  • Must perform various tasks using PC skills.

  • Issues general and hot work permits in compliance with Chevron Safe Work Practices and ensures contractor safety

  • Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment, participating in Loss Prevention System and being prepared to respond to any type of incident.

  • Perform various terminal tasks that may come up in the course and scope of a Terminal Operator's job

  • Maintains flexibility and willingness to work weekends, shift work, and overtime. Works cooperatively with others as a team player

    Required Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability

  • Computer skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and a team player

  • Good time management skills

  • Must have a High school diploma or GED

  • Must have a driver's license

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $39.08 . The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
