Change Leadership Advisor serves as a team member of Change CoE within Chevron’s Human Resources function. The team is designed to accelerate effectiveness of leaders and the workforce through an ever-changing environment. Change Leadership and Change Management activities will drive leaders and employees' understanding and adoption of change initiatives, including transformation projects; deliver experiential events and coach on high-performance teaming behaviors, and activate key culture elements in support of our functional and enterprise objectives and an improved employee experience. This work will be essential to supporting leaders and employees, accelerating individuals and teams through the change curve, and ensuring the long-term success of transformation and change leadership initiatives. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and organized; able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment as needed; have experience with large-scale organizational change and transformation efforts and/or foundational understanding of change management desired.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Provide consultation and coaching to leadership teams and businesses to develop and execute comprehensive, experiential culture change plans Design and implementation of purpose-driven change approach, deliverables and measurement that meet strategic business (project) goals and outcomes Design and implementation of strategic stakeholder engagement, risk identification and mitigation, sustainability and continual improvement plans Facilitate experiential events to build change leadership capability in teaming and collaboration with strategic partners and organizations Create and deliver compelling content and experiential events Coaching and influencing leaders in sponsorship of change leadership
Required Qualifications:
BA or BS required, master’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience in change management initiatives, including culture or behavior focused efforts
Experience with large-scale transformation efforts, programs
Excellent teaming and collaboration skills and ability to “find a way” to solve complex issues
Strong consulting, coaching and influencing skills
Must thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Change Management Professional and/or Project Manager certification
Experience with project management for large, cross function efforts
Familiarity with and demonstration of behaviors to sucessful operate in agile methodolody
Relocation Options:
