Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of HR Business Partner located in San Ramon , Ca. through July 17, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Provides strategic and operational HR business partner support to Americas Products West, OE/HES, and Procurement organizations (client size of approximately 340 employees) including policy guidance, managing employee relations issues, performance management, organizational capability, change management, etc. Manages and facilitates PDC sessions for each of the organizations including setting agenda, developing materials and/or data analysis, supporting selection processes, and managing the annual pay determination process. Coaches and makes recommendations to managers and supervisors on broad spectrum of HR issues. Analyses, understands, and presents data in the context of business issues to draw conclusions and support recommendations.
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or comparable degree
Minimum 5 years experience of relevant work experience
Broad HR experience in areas including compensation, organizational capability, HR processes, employment law, talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
Demonstrated analytical skills - ability to directly inquire and report on HR and other data to support the business in making decisions
Proven project management skills and project leadership capabilities.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills.
Actively drives change, process improvements, and innovative solutions and considers multiple perspectives and approaches.
Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills. Ability to seek input and interact with various levels of leadership and employees.
Ability to consult and influence different organizational levels to achieve goals and shape behavior and outcomes.
Willingness to be flexible, support other members of the team when needed, respond to multiple client needs/requests simultaneously in fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Demonstrated business knowledge. Ability to speak the customers'' language and appropriately align HR solutions, products and services to meet customer and business needs.
Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
