Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to :
Develops annual master brief and consumer value proposition for the Texaco brand in alignment with Americas’ Marketing strategy. Leads creative development, production and deployment of work done by agencies and has approval and oversight of external brand communications. Interacts with Sales to understand market conditions, develop, assess and prioritize brand marketing opportunities, and then with the support of third-party vendors, creates and deploys cost effective advertising programs and sponsorships to support branded sales. Serves as the Company representative on internal and external issues related to the Texaco Brand.
Works directly with and advises Brand Management, to develop and deploy multicultural marketing strategy for Americas Products Marketing. Serve as a primary point of contact for Multicultural marketing, influencing Brand Managers and Sales Management, and ensuring alignment with overall strategy and consistency of messages across the different elemental executions. Manages current Hispanic agency relationship, creative, broadcast, direct marketing and website programs. Provide an expert level understanding of consumers and how to develop ideas into marketing strategy.
Coordinates on-going dialogue regarding marketing objectives and campaigns with Sales Teams, Retailers/Marketers as appropriate and cross functional teams including; Card Marketing, Extra Mile Team, Interactive Media and others as needed to drive synergies between functions. Provides consultation on developing and/or using multicultural consumer and market research with other Chevron organizations as requested. Create cross-functional alignment to integrate other functions into brand activation. Provides expertise in communication strategy, product strategy, innovation strategy and brand image. Available as consultant to other operating companies in Chevron as expert in multicultural marketing and communication.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
Must be able to fluently speak in Spanish language skills (written and verbal)
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Product Marketing of consumer goods
Must be able to clearly communicate with a broad audience and across multiple levels of the organization
Strong understand of Advertising and Media, digital experience preferred
- Experience marketing in a retail environment
Relocation will not be considered.
