Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Develop & sustain lubricants business in the Distributor Territory- Effectively roll out marketing programs - Recommends Caltex brand sales/distribution strategy for Distributor - Ensures optimum availability, visibility and pricing of Caltex brands - Monitors and evaluate incoming shipments/inventory - Evaluates distributor sales persons performance & conducts continuous training - Performs market intelligence activities - Monitors distributor's sales and distribution operations, financial and other sales reporting functions
Enhance profitable business growth in the assigned industry/ territory by winning new customers and cross/up selling existing customers. Has the ability to deliver “high grade” portfolio products and maximize sale of premium products to customers
Develop lubricants distributors in the C&I space; Coach and train distributor sales force for competencies to deliver business plan- Focus on Value-selling by providing sound recommendation on products and services to customers - Determines pricing based on total value proposition for customers - Identify opportunities to create new accounts for business expansion; Identify customer value drivers and recommend innovative solutions
Handle and resolve problems and complaints including channel conflicts
Effectively manage credit of assigned territory
Regularly provide business updates on competitors' activities and related information to evaluate business opportunities.
Minimum 5 years sales experience
Excellent skills of planning, analytical thinking and problem solving; Exhibits comprehensive account analysis skills, works to achieve significant profit contribution each year
Able to work independently to proactively anticipate and fulfill customer strategic needs and independently resolve complex customer concerns from large or national accounts
Good communications, negotiation and presentation skills; Proven competencies in speaking and writing in English in a business environment
Ability to drive and travel
Business or Engineering Degree
Working in a multi-national company handling distributors would be an advantage
Experience in a company handling FMCG or Lubricants business
Experience in Solution-based/ Value-based selling or ability to sell products and solutions that specifically support customer strategy would be an advantage
