Responsible for overall reservoir performance optimization. Includes field depletion/development plans, stimulation, formation evaluation, reserves, secondary/EOR recovery processes, etc.
Chevron is a Non-Operating JV (NOJV) partner with one Chinese state oil company CNOOC for three China offshore PSCs, which include 9 fields, at Bohai Bay and South China Sea. Through more than 20 years of cooperation, Chevron has established a very strong partnership with the operator and is able to influence the operator in every aspect of the business. The Chevron NOJV team focuses on working with the operator to achieve world class OE performance and deliver best base business results; to identify and evaluate opportunities to improve asset values; and to resolve outstanding and new commercial issues. The senior subsurface technical staff is expected to be a technical leader working with other Chevron colleagues in subsurface and other functions and with the operator to achieve the above-mentioned business objectives.
