Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Business Consultant located preferably in Denver, CO - through March 31st, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. MST

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the overall P&L of several Lubricant Marketers.

  • Provides value-based selling and Challenger sales coaching and mentoring to marketer’s principals, sales management, and sellers.

  • Develops strategic business plans and updates them through Quarterly Business Reviews in alignment with Integrated Lubrication Marketer Strategy and focus growth segments.

  • Deploys lead generation process to the marketers in collaboration with Inside Sales. Manages marketer channel conflict to equitable resolution.

  • Manages pipeline with LM and applies appropriate Chevron seller resources to drive growth in the area.

  • Limited in field selling to monitor and coach selling behaviors.

  • Trains LM reps and managers, enlisting L&D support to continually build LM’s technical expertise.

  • Partners with LM sellers in the creation of actionable account plans to drive retention and growth with existing customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Availability to travel.

  • Understands customer value drivers.

  • Experience in using and managing a CRM system.

  • Excellent communication and influential skills.

  • Excellent ability to identify and meet customer needs.

  • Excellent in building relationships within all levels of customer's organization.

  • Comfortable discussing pricing and money.

  • Conflict resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of business-to-business sales experience.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on his or her skills, experience, and qualifications.   • The anticipated salary range for this position is [$97,800 – $168,400].
